Alright, so it's been a really long time since I've posted. I've been ignoring this site a little and focusing more on smosh and panic-disco.com. It's been raining hardcore all week long. During the weekend, it was your average normal rain, but in the past three days, it's been going hard-core. Like, "tornado warning at one point" hardcore. So, yeah. There's not a lot to do. I'm also really sorry about that Ryan Ross drawing, and how it's STILL not done. Truth be told, I might do a different picture of him. I've found tons of cool Panic pictures lately on Photobucket, Tinypic, and Google, so I might be tempted to change my choice of drawing. Either way, I can almost guarantee you that it WILL be a Ryan Ross drawing. 

These days, I've been obsessively listening to a song called "Virginia Symphony" by the band "Hello Beautiful". I randomly came across the music video while watching Much Music the other day, and got hooked to the song. I downloaded it, and not I constantly listen to it. Although I don't enjoy the rapping in the song THAT much, it makes them sound different. I'd say that the song itself is a cross between hip-hop, alternative rock, and a touch of ska hidden somewhere in there. The band itself, I would label as hip-hop, alternative rock, and a bit of punk. It's really hard to find songs by them because their band name is a song by the Jonas Brothers (and we all know how popular they are), and Hello Beautiful isn't the biggest band yet, so they're not known that well on the internet. 

I've started getting into different types of art. I've been drawing random shapes, and then colouring them in, and it gives a pretty cool abstract-ish effect. I really wanna get into chalk pastels and painting, too. I'm still doing portraits, though.

I've been listening to Cobra Starship lately, and I really like that song, "The City is at War." It's catchy, and the video is good. I should check out some more of their songs.

 It's been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that. Anyways, I started drums on Thursday, and I got my drum set yesterday. It's all good except for the fact that there's no stand for the snare drum. Since it was a rental for the summer from my music school, I get it for the summer, and my teacher just told me to take the drums in the room that he put them in. Well, I got everything, then I realized that I was missing that stand. I went into the room to look for it, but it wasn't there. Oh well, I'll ask my teacher about it at my next lesson.

So I changed the outlook of my desktop a little. The icons are lined up on the top and I customized it a bit. Here it is:

So anyways, I started learning Say it ain't So by Weezer on guitar. It's a pretty fun song, and it's easy, too, from what I've learned so far. Hopefully I'll get to learning some songs on the drums soon.

Revised Summer To-Do List:

1. Learn at least 2 songs on the drums.
2. Have band practice with my band, and learn a lot of songs on guitar.
3. Make some money.
4. Go to a waterpark.
5. Go swimming in a pool, NOT counting pool parties for birthdays, because I'll be going to a few of those this summer.
6. Go to the movie theater.
7. Watch a lot of DVD's with my friends.
8. Hang out a lot.
9. Have/attend to a Guitar Hero tournament.
10. Listen to more, and different bands.
11. Get a bunch of Sharpie (or other permenant) markers and write tons of stuff on my arms and hands with my friends.

Sorry that I haven't posted in such a while, just to get that out of the way.

I made a summer to-do list. I know, it's really cliche, but I need something to occupy myself with this summer. So, here it is. 

1. Beat Super Mario- 6 Golden Coins on GameBoy Advance and Super Mario 64 on Nintendo 64. (This sounds pathetic, but I gave these two games to my friend a while back, and hadn't beaten them yet. I know, it's sad. I had those games for an estimated 5-10 years before I gave them away).

2. Write a song with my band.

3. Have a Rock Band party. 

4. Start the Ryan Ross drawing and FINISH IT.

5. Save up at least $300. I want $1,500, though. (I know, it'll be a LOT of work, but I can attempt it :P).

6. Prank call a lot of people with my friends.

7. Beat Rock Band on Drums-->Hard, or Guitar-->Expert.

8. Have a decent eating/sleeping routine. (I'll probably be staying up and sleeping in a lot).

9. Play some more Guitar Hero/Rock Band.

That's all that I have for now, but I'll add more when/if I think of more.

This post will be long. Sorry for not making my other ones as long, but I'll put my efforts into this one. Rambling could get me a long post, but I'll try not to. I've been somewhat concerned about global warming lately. I feel like writing a song about it. My lyrics suck though. Oh well. I wouldn't write it directly about global warming. I'd make it metaphorical in some way and distort the lyrics and word the song in a form that it would put the message across but at the same time be somewhat meaningful, at least. And confusing. I like confusing people with random inside jokes that I just put out there, not even aware that they don't know what I'm talking about. Half of the things I talk about are inside jokes with my friends. It's all too great.

I really like the song "Charlie" By the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's so weird. But I like it. It's really catchy. Anyways, I'm really into photoshopping at the moment, even though I'm not that great at it (still learning). But it's really fun. Blending colours is awesome.

I should study for my history test. It's tomorrow. I've got a lot memorized, but I think that I should study some more just to make sure. And, wow. I just realized that near the end of "I Have Friends in Holy Spaces" has a bit of "Northern Downpour" in it, leading into the song. After taking the time to listen to it, I realized that. And for some reason, those last few seconds of "I Have Friends in Holy Spaces" with the muffled chords from "Norhtern Downpour" sadden me. I don't know. It just seems like a kind of sad song to me. I remember when I listened to "First Spin" on much music for Pretty. Odd., being the first time I listened to the album, Northern Downpour was the first song that  I really liked. I thought that it was amazing.

I'm really bored. There's no one to hang out with. And it's too late to hang out by now. I'd only have about an hour. And it's cold out. I think that I'll play Northern Downpour on guitar. It's so calming. It's only about different chords and a riff. It's fun to play. I think that I'll end my post now, because I've run out things to write.
